TACVBAR

TACVBAR is a group of L.A.-based musicians who came together to fill a much-needed space in the local music scene: a consistent and passionate live tribute to the iconic sound of Café Tacvba. Formed by artists already known for their success in other musical projects, TACVBAR is more than just a cover band—it's a collective of kindred spirits honoring the eclectic legacy of a band that defined generations.

With electrifying renditions of classics like “La Ingrata”, “Eres”, “Chilanga Banda”, “El Baile y El Salón”, and “Cómo Te Extraño Mi Amor”, TACVBAR brings the spirit, energy, and diversity of Café Tacvba’s catalog to life on stage. From the alternative edge of “Volver a Comenzar” to the folkloric essence of “Las Flores”, every performance is a tribute to the band’s fearless experimentation and cultural impact.

Debuting in 2024, TACVBAR has already ignited a grassroots following with high-energy shows across Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Texas, and up and down California. Their goal is simple: to create a musical experience that feels like home to fans of Café Tacvba, and to welcome new listeners into a growing family of passionate music lovers.
